Antiproliferative and Antimicrobial Activity of Anthocyanins from Berry Fruits after Their Isolation and Freeze-Drying

Natural phytonutrients in foods, including anthocyanins, can play an important role human health. Anthocyanins have been reported to cause many various useful effects, such as reducing cancer cell proliferation, regulating blood pressure, preventing tumor formation, and diabetes. In this study, we aimed reveal the qualitative anthocyanin content, antiproliferative antimicrobial effects of different extracts derived from Vaccinium myrtillus, corymbosum, Sambucus nigra Aronia melanocarpa. The content plants mentioned study was characterized after freeze-drying process. MTT assay chosen determine effect on colorectal cells. Antimicrobial were studied typical clinical strains five bacteria. As a result, it determined that obtained by method acceptable, some found strong cells antibacterial strains. Conclusionally, has shown which are beneficial very promising when prepared with relatively new method, is pioneer for possible future pharmacological vivo studies.
